We are seeking an IT Project Analyst to join our Project Management Office (PMO). This is an entry-level position within the IT project management organization and provides an opportunity to develop the skills and experience necessary to advance into an IT Project Manager role.  The Project Analyst will support the planning, coordination, tracking, and reporting of IT projects while working closely with experienced Project Managers, IT leaders, business stakeholders, and technology teams.  The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn how complex technology projects are planned and delivered. This individual should be comfortable working with multiple priorities and have the communication skills necessary to follow up with project team members and keep projects moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers in the planning and execution of IT projects
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, action-item lists, status reports, and other project documentation
  • Track project milestones, deadlines, deliverables, and dependencies
  • Assist with monitoring project budgets, expenses, forecasts, and resource requirements
  • Gather and organize project information from IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors
  • Prepare project status reports and presentations for project leadership
  • Track project risks, issues, decisions, and action items
  • Follow up with project team members regarding outstanding tasks and deadlines
  • Help coordinate project meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting meeting notes, and tracking follow-up items
  • Assist Project Managers with maintaining accurate project schedules
  • Help identify schedule delays, resource constraints, and other potential project issues
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure information is current and accessible
  • Assist with project governance and PMO processes
  • Support the creation of project dashboards and management reports
  • Help coordinate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Assist with vendor coordination and tracking of vendor deliverables
  • Participate in project meetings and gain exposure to all phases of the IT project lifecycle
  • Take on increasing responsibility as knowledge and project management skills develop

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in project coordination, business analysis, IT, operations, or a related field
  • Strong interest in developing a career in IT Project Management
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability to learn project management tools and systems quickly
